What is our mission?

The mission of the association is to provide a means of coordinating information on techniques and methods to improve the investigative process and to provide a networking resource to our members.  The association also hopes to raise public awareness about the impact of fire and arson on society through education programs provided to our members so that they can take that information back to the communities they serve.

We love Central Texas!  Our members generally live and work in the Central Texas region and our training seminars and conferences are held within a convenient drive of the Austin/San Antonio area.

Are you currently a certified fire investigator, either public or private or do you work as a fire investigator or fire inspector?  If so, join us today!  Membership is just $30 per calendar year.
